All the nursing homes of the state shall provide health services while following the preventive protocol for Covid-19

Chief Minister helpline should maintain a constant communication with the members of vigilance committees

Need to enhance quarantine capacity in the state in view of large number of migrants coming back

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued directions to ensure no migrant labourer/worker should travel on foot and vehicles be arranged for them. They should be medically screened and provided treatment if found unwell. He also asked to expedite preparation of an extensive action plan for their employment.

Addressing a high-level Lockdown review meeting in Lok Bhawan here on Wednesday, he said the economic activities, which were hit due to Covid-19, should be restored promoting the industrial development in the state. He instructed Industrial Development and Revenue departments to prepare and implement an action plan for a land bank to provided land for setting up new industries while the sectoral policies should be simplified to give boost to industries.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the list of migrants of other states should be made available to concerning state governments to send them back in a smooth manner. He said the social distancing has to be maintained in shops, Mandis and bank branches and ensure all persons should wear masks. He also directed to strengthen the vigilance/monitoring committees for effective surveillance in cities and villages. He said the CM helpline should maintain a constant communication with these committees. He directed to observe Lockdown strictly in the districts of Agra, Kanpur Nagar and Meerut.

The Chief Minister said that the migrants are coming back in large numbers hence the there is a need to enhance quarantine capacity in the state. He said the community kitchen system should be strengthened further for proper food arrangements for migrants. He also called upon to ensure cleanliness and security at quarantine centres/shelter homes. It should be ensured that no one is hungry.

The Chief Minister directed that all the nursing homes of the state shall provide health services while following the preventive protocol for Covid-19. He asked to ensure proper supply of PPE kits, N-95 masks and sanitiser in all the hospitals. Availability of ventilators should be ensured in all districts. Also, the number of Covid hospitals should be increased and the L-1, L-2 and L-3 Covid hospitals should have a combined capacity of one lakh beds. While directing to ramp up covid testing, the CM said that Chief Minister Helpline should be in regular touch with the covid patients to get their well being. Increase in pool testing should also be ensured.

Nivedita Shukla Verma, Principal Secretary Agriculture Shri Devesh Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandary Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri S.P.
