No Covid hospital should have less than one hundred of beds

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the Health Minister and Medical Education Minister to make surprise inspections of the medical colleges and hospitals

Have on the spot assessment and receive direct feedback from the public to improve the hospitals services

Chief Secretary and DGP should have regular dialogue with the DMs and SSPs/SPs to make Lockdown successful

New ration cards of the returnee labourers/workers should be made on the war-footing

Activate the inoperative bank accounts of the labourers/workers, if any to facilitate the transfer of sustenance allowance

Stress on making surveillance committees strong : these committees can help in resolving several domestic and revenue related issues

Expedite cattle-feed bank and ear-tagging of cows/cattle

Prepare an action plan in advance to screen the passengers when the regular train services commence in the near future

Police, PAC, Fire Services and the Railway Police personnel should be protected from the medical infection by providing them preventive gears

Remain alert against the menace of locust attack in the state and said the people should be made aware of this phenomenon

As many as 1337 trains have reached the state carrying labourers/workers while 104 are en-route

The railway station of Gorakhpur has so far received 208 trains, the most by any railway station in the country

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the Health Minister and Medical Education Minister to make surprise inspections of the medical colleges and hospitals to have on the spot assessment and also receive direct feedback from the public to improve the services.

“I myself made a surprise inspection of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences here today,” he said while addressing a highlevel Lockdwon review meeting in Lok Bhawan on Wednesday. The CM gathered first hand information about the hospital services during a one on one dialogue with patients and attendants and issued necessary instructions to the doctors.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has expedited the process of improving the strengthening the health services to counter Covid19 infection. He said the government is busy in setting up Covid hospitals of various categories, ensuring the availability of trained doctors and medical staff, taking measures to arrange medicines and preventive gears to negate Covid infection as well as making available the telemedicine facilities and conducting emergency services. He directed the departments of Health and Medical Education to have coordination with the administration and work in tandem to make health service effective.

Underlining the importance of regular communication among all arms of the government, he said that the Chief Secretary and DGP should have regular dialogue with the DMs and SSPs/SPs to make Lockdown successful. He also asked to continue sanitation in urban and rural areas.

The Chief Minister said the state government has ensured safe and dignified return of the labourers/workers from various states with the help of the Centre. He said all the returnee labourers/workers should be screened and sent to quarantine centres or home quarantine as required. He said the quarantine centres and shelter homes should have proper arrangements of hygiene and security while the community kitchens should feed all the needy persons including labourers/workers with pure and enough food.. He said the skill mapping of the labourers/workers should be done in quarantine centres and their mobile numbers and bank details documented to provide them suitable jobs.

He reiterated that all those labourers/workers who are being sent to home quarantine should be provided food grain kit and Rs 1000 as sustenance allowance to each of them during home quarantine. He also directed the officials to activate the inoperative bank accounts of the labourers/workers, if any, to facilitate the transfer of sustenance allowance. The Chief Minister said in order to make home quarantine system a success, the surveillance committees should remain active and the feedback of their work should be attained through regular communication of CM helpline. Stressing the need of making surveillance committees strong, he said these committees can help in resolving several domestic and revenue related issues. On this occasion, the CM was told that the CM helpline has had communication with about 44,000 Gram Pradhans.

He also instructed to make prior arrangements for the next phase of food grain Distribution Drive commencing on June 1, 2020. He said the new ration cards of the returnee labourers/workers should be made on the warfooting and ensure the needy families get the food grain compulsorily.

The Chief Minister said that the beds capacity of L-1, L-2 and L-3 Covid hospitals should be raised to one lakh by the end of this month and ensure no Covid hospitals has number of beds less than one hundred. He said the Police, PAC , Fire Services and the Railway Police personnel should be protected from the medical infection by providing them preventive gears and proper training. He also expected the DMs to inspect Covid hospitals on a regular basis.

He said that the state government has made arrangements for wheat purchase and purchase centres have been set up with the purpose. He asked to expedite the wheat purchase and benefit maximum farmers. He said the cattle-feed banks should be established for cow shelters which were set up for the stray cows/cattle and ear tagging of the cows/cattle should be done.

The Chief Minister cautioned against the menace of locust attack in the state and said the people should be made aware of this phenomenon.

Goyal and Shri Sanjay Prasad, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Alok Kumar, Director Information Shri Shishir and other senior officers.
