Injured to get Rs. 50,000 Chief Minister condoles death of pilgrims in Chitrakoot stampede

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has announced an ex-gratia compensation of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of pilgrims who were killed in the stampede at Chitrakoot during the ‘Parikrama’ of Kamadgiri. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 each. Condoling the loss of life, Mr. Yadav expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.

The Chief Minister also directed officials to undertake rescue and relief operations promptly and ensure that the injured get immediate treatment and assistance.
