State Government making serious efforts to provide more and more facilities to the lawyers
In view of the far-reaching decisions taken by the state government in favour of the lawyers, a delegation of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh calls on the Chief Minister and expresses gratitude
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Akhilesh Yadav has said that the Samajwadi government has made special efforts for the welfare of the lawyer fraternity and added that the government has taken forward the far reaching decisions taken by Netaji Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav and have value added to it.
The Chief Minister expressed these views when a delegation of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh called on him to express their gratitude for the many decisions taken for their welfare by Mr. Akhilesh Yadav.
Chairman of the Council, Mr. Abdul Razzak Khan led the delegation. Also present during the meeting was Political Pension Minister Mr. Rajendra Chowdhary.
Referring to the significant role played by the lawyers in the freedom struggle, the Chief Minister said that other than social welfare, the lawyers have also been in the vanguard of many important revolutions. Calling lawyers important and enlightened members of the society, Mr. Yadav said lawyers had a special role in guiding the society.
Also present in the delegation were Mr. Gaurav Bhatia, Mr. Rohtas Agarwal and many other lawyers.
