Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to make a study to identify employment possibilities in the state. He said that the MSME sector is the backbone of industrial development hence should be given all possible help. He said that all the precautions should be taken while resuming the operations of the industries. He said that the quick decision making is required in the matter related to revenue generation.
Addressing a high-level Lockdown review meeting at his official residence here on Wednesday, the CM said that the drivers and accompanying staff of the ambulances should be given gloves and masks compulsorily for protection against Covid infection.
He said similarly, the doctors and other medical staff of emergency services of non-covid hospitals should be trained to protect themselves from the infection. All the hospitals should be asked to follow the Covid protocol and supplied with adequate quantity of N-95 masks, PPE kits and sanitiser. He said the government has been promoting e-hospital and telemedicine facilities and these should be augmented further. The telemedicine system will be strengthened so that people may get consultation on telephone.
The Chief Minister said the health system and the society both should be in the state of alertness all the time to fight against Covid-19. In order to make the people aware about importance of body immunity and protection against infection, the Government of India has launched Arogya Mobile App. In this continuation, the State Government has also launched ‘Ayush Kavach Covid’ mobile app. He directed officials to publicise the utility of these two mobile apps and persuade people to download as much as possible.
He also directed to sanitise court premises and equip them with Infra-Red Thermometer, Thermal Scanners and Sanitiser. He said that the stationery shops should be allowed to be opened in Green and Orange zones. Social distancing has to be ensured in the Mandis while making gloves and masks mandatory there.
The CM stressed on intensifying the sanitisation in hotspot areas while strengthening the quarantine centres, shelter homes and community kitchens network. He said that the quarantine centres should be active in rural areas. In order to control the spread of infectious diseases, the Urban Development, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj departments should launch a special drive for cleanliness. He reiterated that the migrant labourers and workers should be linked to milk samitis to make them financially independent. For creating job opportunities, serious efforts should be made to set up milk samitis in all Gram Panchayats.
