Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav unveiled the logo for the Lucknow Metro.
He also laid the foundation stone for projects worth 2,200 crores.
The projects include a Multi Utility Sports Complex with an International Stadium. An Ultra Modern IT City which will also be home to the Indian Institute of Information and Technology, a modern milk processing dairy plant and administrative and training institutes.
Beautification and development of the Gomti river banks was also initiated.
