Chief Minister pays glowing tributes to Late Janeshwar Mishra
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today paid floral tributes at a portrait of late Janeshwar Mishra at the park named after him, on his fifth death anniversary. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the late leader always struggled for the poor, downtrodden, youth and the common people.
He was a compassionate sympathizer of the poor and his personality had so much attraction that on one call of his, people readied themselves for all sacrifices at the altar of socialist ideology, the Chief Minister pointed out.
Mr. Yadav also recalled how his actions, deeds and words matched and he not only spoke about socialist ethos but also lived it although his life. The Chief Minister further stated that the socialists always work on basis of will power, struggle and courage, which takes them ahead in life. The Chief Minister said the present State Government was going ahead on the path shown by the late Janeshwar Mishra and had rolled out many welfare schemes for all sections of the society. The Samajwadi government had undertaken ‘108’ Samajwadi Health Service and ‘102’ National Ambulance Service which are very popular, Mr. Yadav highlighted and said that the Samajwadi Pension Scheme was benefiting 40 lakh poor families.
He also pointed out how 12th class pass outs were given free laptops to enable them to get connected to higher technical education and underlined how the welfare schemes in UP were far ahead of those being run by other states. Also present were ministers of the state government, MP’s, public representatives and other dignitaries.
