Uttar Pradesh Governor Mr. Ram Naik and Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today visited the Aishbagh Eidgah and greeted people on the festival of Eid. On the occasion, the governor wished happiness and prosperity to all and said that the festival was symbolic of peace and sacrifice.
Wishing the people on Eid, Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav said that when Eid was being celebrated all across the country, we should commit ourselves to peace and universal brotherhood so that the name of the country is further exalted in the world. He further said that a society which respects each other ushers is prosperity and progress. On the occasion also present were people’s representatives, senior officers of the state government and district administration.
Before this, Imam Eidgaah Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali led the Muslim devouts to offer prayers and prayed for peace in the nation and the world.
After greeting people on Eid at the Eidgah, the Chief Minister visited the Tele Waali Masjid and wished Imam Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Wayzi, Maulana Kalb-e-Jawwad at Bada Imambada and other senior members of the Muslim community.
The Chief Minister along with Kannauj MP Mrs Dimple Yadav also visited the residence of Health Minister Mr. Ahmad Hasan and former minister Dr Ammar Rizvi and greeted them on Eid. He also visited residences of Mr. Bukkal Nawab, Mr. Mohammad Aibaad, Mr. Kamal Khan and Mr. Kamran Beg and wished them on Eid. Also present was Political Pensions Minister Mr. Rajendra Chowdhary.
