The exhibition displays welfare schemes undertaken by the state government, achievements and state’s development
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today inaugurated an exhibition at Lohia Park, Gomtinagar under the aegis of the UP Information and Public Relations Department, on the occasion of ‘Conference of Presiding Officers and Secretaries of Legislative Bodies in India’. Thereafter, the Chief Minister also viewed the pictures put up for display at the exhibition.
The exhibits at the exhibition displayed various development projects and welfare schemes undertaken by the state government and a brief about them. The exhibition displays schemes like ‘108’ Samajwadi Health Service, ‘102’ National Ambulance Service, 1090 Women Power Line, Lucknow Metro Rail, CG City Project, Janeshwar Mishra Park, TransGanga Project, Agra-Lucknow Express-way, Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre, beginning of the second phase of the UP Water Sector Restructuring Project, Samajwadi pension Scheme, Lohia Rural Housing Scheme etc.
Also present at the exhibition were State Assembly speaker Mr. Mata Prasad Pandey, Political Pensions Minister Mr. Rajendra Chowdhary, Stamp and Court fees Registration Minister Mr. Raja Aridaman Singh and Backward Welfare Minister Mr. Ambika Chowdhary, Principal Secretary (Vidhan Sabha) Mr. Pradeep Dubey, Principal Secretary (Information) Mr. Navneet Sehgal, Secretary to Chief Minister; Mr. Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma, Director Information Mr. Ashutosh Niranjan and senior officers of the government and administration.
Earlier, the Chief Minister was presented a bouquet upon his arrival at the venue. It may be pointed out here that a four day Conference of Presiding Officers and Secretaries of Legislative Bodies in India is being held in the state capital between January 30-February 2, 2015 wherein many participants from all over the country are taking part.
