Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expresses gratitude to PM for this decision
The decision of the Union Government will benefit farmers in the state as well
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hailed the decision of the union cabinet to increase the minimum support price (MSP) for Kharif Crop as historic and expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. He added that the farmer-friendly Union Government’s decision would go a long way in benefitting the farmers in the state as well.
The Chief Minister further stated that this decision of the Union Government would ring in prosperity for farmers and help in making agriculture profit making. The Prime Minister has held out a target of doubling the income of farmers by 2022, he said while pointing out that the state government was working seriously on an action plan for achieving this target.
The Chief Minister also said that UP’s economy was based on agriculture and the Union Government had last month declared a package for sugar industry in interest of cane growers and this decision of enhancing the MSP today was set to give a positive impetus to the state’s economy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sanctions Rs. 1.86 crore financial assistance for 163 persons from different districts
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sanctioned a financial assistance of Rs. 1.86 crore for 163 people from different districts who are suffering from serious and life-threatening ailments.
This financial assistance has been granted from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. Providing this information, a state government spokesman informed that the beneficiaries included Mr. Rajesh Kumar Chaurasiya from Barabanki, Km. Kavita from Azamgarh and Mrs. Shahrun from Aligarh. All these beneficiaries are suffering from ailments of heart, kidney, liver and cancer.
