The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today laid the foundation stones of IT City in the CG City at Chak Ganjariya. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the projects would generate large scale employment and would bring good name to the state.
The Chief Minister said that while all state government were trying their best to attract investment for their respective states, he pointed out that the efforts made by the UP government in the past two-and-a-half years had surpassed all efforts of the other state governments. He also expressed hope that the projects of which the foundation laying stones were being laid would be completed within the next two-and-a-half years and would benefit the people of the state.
He added that keeping in mind the prestige and needs of the state capital while Metro Rail was being brought to the city, dairy plants were also being established and the bicycles have been exempted of the VAT. Calling UP a big state, Mr. Yadav further said that till such a time that indices like education, health and basic infrastructure improve, the image of India will not improve. He also referred to the free distribution of 15 lakh laptops in the state and pointed out how neither the purchase or distribution had any fingers pointed to the scheme.
