Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has announced upgradation of district hospital in Ghazipur from 200 beds to 500 so that people could get quality treatment in the district.
Yadav said while addressing a rally in Ghazipur on Monday “It was a long pending demand to increase beds in the district hospital. The Government has now decided to upgrade 200-beded district hospital in Ghazipur to 500 beds so that people can get treatment near their door steps”.
He had gone there to unveil the statue of Ram Karan Yadav ‘Dada’. Chief Minister also named the under construction road bridge in Saidpur over river Ganga as Ram karan Yadav bridge.
“Ours is the only government that is working for the uplift of all sections of the society. It was Samajwadi Party Government that envisaged Samajwadi Pension scheme and brought 40 lakh below poverty line families under this scheme. The families will now get Rs 500 per month as pension and this money will increase every year,” Yadav said.
He said the state is galloping on the path of development. There is no paucity of funds in carrying out development schemes. We are constructing roads, building schools and taking health care facilities to the far flung areas of the state.
“Only Samajwadi Party has thought about improving power situation in the state. Sub-stations are being set up to improve distribution. To improve generation new power plants are being set up. WE are not getting support from the centre, still we are providing all help to the people,” he said.
