
A significant step towards quality higher education in the state Rs. 600 crore to be invested in this varsity with world class amenities
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today handed over allotment papers of land for setting up Bennett University in greater Noida to managing director of the Times Group Mr. Vineet Jain. Lauding this initiative of the Times Group, Mr. Yadav said that this would go a long way in qualitative improvement in the higher education sector in the state.
It may be pointed out here that an investment of Rs. 600 would be made in this varsity with world class amenities. It would be set up in 68 acres of land and agreements would be made with many leading universities for studies here. An agreement has already been done with the Georgia University for studies in engineering. Around 10,000 students will study here together.
Courses for engineering, management, Media, law, designing and arts would be taught here. The academic session of this university will begin from July 2016.
