Chief Advisor of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Dr. E Sridharan calls on Chief Minister, apprises him of the progress in the project
Chief Advisor of the Lucknow Metro Rail project Dr. E Sridharan called on Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav at his official residence today and apprised Mr. Yadav of the progress in the project. Dr. E. Sridharan told the Chief Minister that tender document for rolling stock and signalling have been floated. The tender document has been purchased by 18 renowned national/international companies.
Dr. Sridharan also apprised of the Chief Minister that work on Lucknow Metro Rail was going on expeditiously and that it would be completed within the stipulated timelines. He also requested the Chief Minister that for approval of the project by the Union Government, request by the State Government to the Union Government would be necessary.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness at the progress of the Lucknow Metro Rail and assured of Dr. Sridharan that the state government would soon make the request to the Government of India. The Chief Secretary Mr. Alok Ranjan, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Rakesh Bahadur, Principal Secretary (Housing) Mr. Sadakant and Managing Director of the Lucknow Metro Rail Project Mr. Kumar Keshav During were also present the meeting.
