Work is being expedited to make the Lion Safari world class : Chief Minister
Chief Minister meets people in Saifai and listens to their problems
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today visited the Lion safari at Etawah and inspected the progress of the works being done there which are being expedited to make the Lion Safari world class in consultation with experts.
A breeding centre, hospital, animal house, interpretation centre etc. have already been established at the Lion Safari Park. More than 1,000 acres of land in the Fischer forests has been developed as a living area for the lions. The Chief Minister also interacted with officers and directed them to ensure that work is undertaken under the set parameters of quality.
In the PWD auditorium in Saifai Mr. Yadav also met the people and heard their problems. Subsequently he took their representations and applications and directed officers to dispose them promptly andeffectively. The Chief Minister also met residents of the village Nagla Rathore under the Janeshwar Mishra Gram Yojna and also inspected the 1150 metre CC road built at a cost of Rs. 38 lakh.
During his visit, the Chief Minister also instructed officers to ensure and maintain transparency in all the schemes launched by the state government for welfare of all sections of the society. Also present during the Chief Minister’s visit were District Magistrate Mr. Nitin Bansal, SSP Mrs. Manzil Saini, senior officers of the government and the district administration and other dignitaries.
