
मृतक महेश की पत्नी को मुख्यमंत्री से मिली आर्थिक सहायता
विगत 22 अक्टूबर को शोभायात्रा पर हुई फाय¨रग में मारे गए महेश कुशवाहा की पत्नी को मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने लखनऊ स्थित अपने आवास पर बुलाकर आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराई। मुख्यमंत्री ने उसे सरकारी नौकरी दिलाने का आश्वासन दिया।
सोमवार महेश कुशवाहा की पत्नी ¨रकी कुशवाहा अपनी सास और जेठ रमेश को लेकर स्थानीय नेताओं के साथ लखनऊ में कालीदास मार्ग स्थिति मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव के आवास पर पहुंची। वहां मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने पीड़ित परिवार से मुलाकात कर विस्तार से घटना की जानकारी की। इसके बाद मुख्यमंत्री ने मृतक की पत्नी ¨रकी कुशवाहा को मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष से दस लाख रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता की चेक उपलब्ध कराई। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस दौरान ¨रकी को सरकारी नौकरी दिलाने का भी आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पीड़ित परिवार के साथ पार्टी व सरकार की संवेदना है। दंगे के आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त से कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

This financial assistance is other than the Rs. 85 lakh provided to dependents of lawyers by the Chief Minister
State Government to provide Rs. 40 crore every year to the Lawyers Welfare Fund
Following directives of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Akhilesh Yadav, the state government has disbursed a sum of Rs. 10.33 crores to dependents of deceased lawyers. Of these, Rs. five-five lakh has been given to the next of kin of 206 lawyers and Rs. 50,000 each to dependants of seven lawyers.
Giving this information, Advocate General Mr. Vijay Bahadur Singh said that this amount was other than the Rs. 85 lakh financial assistance extended to the families of deceased lawyers by the Chief Minister. He further pointed out that UP was the only state where, because of the efforts of the Chief Minister, dependants of lawyers who either die a natural or untimely death and are below the age of 60 years, are given financial assistance to the tune of Rs 5 lakh.
The state government, he informed, is providing for a sum of Rs. 40 crore to the Lawyers Welfare Fund every year. In future too, he added, what so ever proposals would be submitted for such assistance to the deceased lawyer dependents would, after necessary verification by the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council, a decision would be taken to give financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh each by the Lawyers Welfare Fund.
It may be pointed out here that the state government has already approved a sum of Rs. 75 crore for installation of CCTV cameras in all courts of the state. The state government is also working of digitization of all libraries of every bar associations, chambers for lawyers and ensuring other necessary facilities.
