Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav at his official residence today met family members of late Mr. Akhlaq, who was killed in an incident in Bisahada village under Dadri in Gautam Buddhnagar. The family members of late Mr. Akhlaq included his mother, brother, daughter and son-in-law.
The Chief Minister while consoling the bereaved family assured them all help and security. With this, he announced that the financial assistance to the family has been increased to Rs 30 lakh. Mr. Yadav also announced Rs 5 lakh each to the three brothers of late Akhlaq, who are very poor.
The Chief Minister also announced that all treatment costs of late Mr. Akhlaq’s son, will be borne by the state government and if needed, for better treatment, he would be shifted to other hospital. During the meeting with the Chief Minister, family members informed him that before the incident there was no such thing and they all lived in solidarity and harmony with each other.
The Chief Minister shared their grief and reiterated that the government was with them in this hour of grief and will provide all possible help. Mr. Yadav also assured the family that the guilty will be brought to book and legal action taken against them. He also issued terse orders to the police to ensure that a repeat of such incidents does not take place in future. He also asked officials to strictly act against such people and elements.
