Such trips cement communal harmony and unity in the country
Each pilgrim who is a resident of UP is being provided a subsidy of Rs. 10,000 by the state government
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has extended his greetings and good wishes to the people from the state who are going onthe Sindhu Darshan pilgrimage. He further said that such trips always cemented communal harmony in the society and promoted unity in the country.
Each pilgrim who is a resident of UP is being provided a subsidy of Rs. 10,000 by the state government. President of the Uttar Pradesh Sindhi Academy Mr. Amrit Rajpal thanked the Chief Minister for thesubsidy and informed that the pilgrimage is conducted between June 23-26, 2015 in Jammu & Kashmir’s Leh and Laddakh.
In the past the number of pilgrims taking this trip was very less but after the subsidy this number has increased considerably.
