Samajwadi Party has lost a dedicated worker and local people have lost a sensitive representative : Chief Minister
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has expressed deep sorrow at the passing away of legislator Mr. Mitrasen Yadav. Praying for peace to the departed soul, Mr. Yadav also expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
In a message issued today, the Chief Minister said that the Samajwadi Party MLA from Bikapur in Faizabad, Mr. Mitrasen Yadav always fought for the rights and welfare of the poor, downtrodden and marginalized sections of the society and helped youngsters by establishing many educational institutions.
In his passing away, the Chief Minister said, the party had lost a dedicated worker and the people of his constituency have lost a true and sensitive representative. Mr. Mitrasen Yadav was first elected to the state assembly in 1977 and then in 1980, 1985, 1993 and 1996 and represented his constituency in the Parliament in 9th, 12th and 14th Lok Sabha.
Late Mr. Mitrasen also visited countries like America, Britain, China, Singapore and Pakistan and tried to understand the social, economic and public representation systems in these countries. Born on July 11, 1934, Mr. Mitrasen Yadav was unwell for some time.
