रोगों पर शोध निष्कर्ष सरकारी डाक्टरों से साझा करें एसजीपीजीआइ : मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने पीजीआइ प्रशासन को इमरजेंसी (आकस्मिक चिकित्सा कक्ष) में बिस्तरों की संख्या बढ़ाने और ट्रामा सेंटर की सेवा जल्द शुरू करने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने पीजीआइ के प्रोफेसरों से नई बीमारियों पर शोध के निष्कर्ष सरकार डाक्टरों से साझा करने व उन्हें मार्गदर्शन देने की अपेक्षा की है।
मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि ट्रामा सेंटर का भवन बन चुका है। यहां आवश्यक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराकर उसे जल्द शुरू किया जाए, ताकि मरीजों को उच्च गुणवत्ता की चिकित्सा सुविधा मिल सके। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि एसजीपीजीआइ की प्रतिष्ठा के चलते दूसरे राज्यों से भी बड़ी संख्या में मरीज आते हैं। इससे ओपीडी में स्थान की कमी हो जाती है। इस समस्या को दूर करने के लिए न्यू ओपीडी (बाह्यï रोग विभाग) भवन का निर्माण जल्द से जल्द पूरा कराया जाये। उन्होंने इमरजेंसी में बिस्तरों की संख्या काफी होने की बात कहते हुए उसके विस्तार का भी निर्देश दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने नई बीमारियों के बारे में शोध के निष्कर्षों की जानकारी सरकारी चिकित्सकों को उपलब्ध कराने व चिकित्सा सेवा की बेहतरी के लिए डाक्टरों का मार्ग दर्शन करने की अपेक्षा भी की। कहा कि राज्य में बेहतर चिकित्सा सुविधा के लिए विश्वस्तरीय संस्थान एवं मेडिकल कालेज की स्थापना का कार्य चल रहा है। पुराने कालेजों के विस्तार के साथ क्षमता में भी बढ़ोतरी की जा रही है। इससे पीजीआइ का दवाब कम होगा

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has said that the trauma centre at the SGPGI is ready for some time now and added that necessary arrangements be made at the earliest so that it can be made operational for the people of the state.

He also said that other under-construction buildings at the SGPGI should also be completed in time and should meet all quality standards. The Chief Minister was today doing a high-level review of the healthcare facilities being provided by the SGPGI and the progress of under-construction wings and buildings. During the review also present were Chief Secretary Mr. Alok Ranjan, Principal Secretary Medical Education Mr. RP Singh and other officials.

While seeking to know the progress of the under-construction OPD, the Chief Minister said the SGPGI was a premiere health institute of the state where patients, many suffering from serious ailments, come not only from Uttar Pradesh but from many other states as well. Considering the paucity of pace in the existing OPD, the Chief Minister instructed officials to expeditiously complete work on the new OPDand also asked officials to regularly review its progress, so that it completes within stipulated timelines and the benefit is accrued by the people.

Mr. Yadav also sought to know the status of emergency services being provided at the institute and said that at present the number of beds and space at the existing emergency was not sufficient and called for adequate space and additional beds at the emergency at the earliest. He also aired his expectation that as per the standards and image of the SGPGI as a front ranking healthcare institute in the country, better treatment facilities will be provided here.

He also expressed hope that the SGPGI would lead in research on new ailments and diseases and show way to other hospitals. The Chief Minister further pointed out that the state government was working towards providing the best healthcare for the people of Uttar Pradesh and with this it was also considering expansion of the existing institutes and colleges. He also expressed his hope that the SGPGI would continue to endeavour to excel.
