The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has ordered suspension of Mr. Salil Kumar Shukla, Assistant Forest Conservator for dereliction of duty, not discharging his duties properly, not complying with the orders of his superiors and for failing to effectively check encroachment of forest land. He has been suspended for his ineptitude shown during his tenure as Forest Officer of Modinagar range Ghaziabad. The C.M. has also directed senior officers to initiate disciplinary action against the errant officer.
Giving this information, a state government spokesman said the Chief Minister has also instructed officers to complete the probe against Mr. Shukla within 30 days and intimate him as well. The Chief Minister has also warned officers/employees not to take their work casually and not be lax else they will face stringent action.
