Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav today met a visiting Judo delegation from Japan, at his Vidhan Bhawan office.
The Japanese delegation included world silver medalist and world university champion Ms. Miki Tanaka and Judo coach Mr. Key Tashiganwara. Welcoming the delegation and the international sportspersons, the Chief Minister hoped that Judo players in the state would be benefited by their training.
It may be pointed out here that both the sports personalities are in the state to impart training in a three-day camp at the KD Singh Babu stadium in Lucknow between July 01-03, 2014. Also present during the meeting were Minister of Health, Mr. Ahmad Hasan, Political Pensions Minister Mr. Rajendra Chowdhary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Rakesh Garg, Special Secretary to CM Mr. Rigzian Sampheal, President of the UP Judo Association Mr. KL Gupta, Secretary Mr. Munavvar Anjaar, Principal of Lamarts girls college Mrs. Farida Abraham.
