This will enhance work and ensure transparency
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav has issued instructions for making his office paperless and added that the move would not only ensure prompt decision making but also ensure transparency. Giving this information, a state government spokesman said that the Chief Minister issued these instructions keeping in mind prompt disposal of letters and added that after this directive from the chief minister, problems like delay in decision making and loss of files can be brought to an end.
Besides, the decision would also help in supervision of work by senior officers. For this, the spokesman said, all officers and staff working at the chief minister’s office will be provided the desired training of computers. The spokesman also said that through this mechanism, people in far flung areas of the state will also be able to keep a tab on their files and their disposal.
At a later stage, this facility would be implemented across all offices in the state, especially in the secretariat, the state government spokesman said while pointing out that the move will also save costs on paper, maintenance and storage of files while improving the environment as well.
